Mark A. Verrette

IRONWOOD, Mich. - Mark A. Verrette, 57, of Ironwood, passed away Feb. 21, 2018.

Mark was born March 28, 1960, in Wakefield and was raised in Bergland. He graduated from Bergland High School in 1978, and moved to Sheboygan, Wis., where he lived for about 30 years. Mark later moved back to Ironwood to assist his mother in 2008.

Mark was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Verrette.

He is survived by his mother, Bernice Verrette, of Hurley, Wis .; and by five sisters, Dee Hunt (Michael), of Sheboygan, Wis., Renee Ryther (Robert), of Blaine, Minn., Leeann Rutherford (Robert), of Minot, N.D., Carrie Verrette, of Utah and Lori Edgington (Rick), of Melbourne, Fla.

Mark will be greatly missed by his many nephews and nieces and grand-nephews and grand-nieces.

Mark was employed by Indianhead Mountain, and he loved his work. He was willing to help with anything. He was a "social butterfly" who loved to talk to anyone, and was a huge Packers fan.

Mark has been cremated in keeping with family wishes. No services are planned at this time.
