A SIMULATED accident involving two vehicles and at least one fatality and multiple injuries is staged Wednesday at the Hurley K-12 school. Students in grades 6-12 watch as first responders remove the victims and douse the vehicles. An Aspirus Wausau Medecopter responded and arrived a few minutes into the exercise. One of the victims is tended to at left.
