HURLEY — The Gogebic Iron Area Narcotics Team has released additional details about the three defendants arrested in the town of Knight over the weekend.
The Iron County Sheriff’s Department initially responded to a report of an altercation in the town of Knight at approximately 6:53 a.m. Sunday, according to a GIANT press release.
During the initial investigation, responding deputies located drug paraphernalia and suspected controlled substances, which led to the execution of a search warrant on the residence, which resulted in the discovery of additional drug paraphernalia and controlled substances. Hazardous materials used to manufacture methamphetamine were also found.
Federal policy required the seized chemicals be disposed of immediately, according to the GIANT release, rather than be kept as evidence.
Three individuals face charges in connection to the investigation, with additional charges possible as the investigation continues.
Kenneth Lorenz, 38, is charged with keeping a drug house, possessing meth paraphernalia, manufacturing meth, felony bail jumping, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspiracy to deliver heroin and violating his probation.
The potential penalties for the charges range between 30 days in jail to 12.5 years in prison.
An Iron County resident, according to the release, Lorenz is being held in the Iron County Jail on $100,000 cash bond.
Eric Brady, 37, of Madison, Wis., is charged with conspiracy to deliver heroin and felony bail jumping.
The potential penalties range from six to 12.5 years.
He is held in the Iron County Jail on a $20,000 cash bond.
Bianca Pulaski, 21, of Ironwood, is charged with possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. The potential penalties range from 30 days in jail to 3.5 years.
She was released on a $5,000 signature bond.
