Hurley — A $20,000 cash bond was modified to a signature bond Tuesday in Iron County Court for a Mt. Horeb man who faces four felony drug counts in relation to an Island Lake area drug bust last month.
Eric Brady, 37, formerly of Madison, will have an initial appearance on June 7 at 1:45 p.m.
Brady’s attorney, Joseph Hoffman, appeared by speaker phone Tuesday morning.
Signature bond conditions include no alcohol, no taverns, no liquor stores and no controlled substances.
Iron County District Attorney Matt Tingstad indicated he has an unopened letter from Brady that he will give to Hoffman at Brady’s next court appearance.
Brady is charged with manufacturing or delivering cocaine, possessing with intent to deliver cocaine, manufacturing or delivering heroin and possession with intent to deliver heroin.
He also faces three bail jumping felonies, according to court records.
Also related to the April 29 morning raid in the town of Knight area, bond was previously set at $100,000 for Kenneth Lorenz, 38, of Waterford, and $10,000 for Bianca Pulaski, 21, of Ironwood Township.
Lorenz faces eight charges, including heroin and cocaine counts, and keeping a drug place.
Pulaski faces four cocaine and heroin counts.
The arrests were the result of a Gogebic-Iron Area Narcotics team investigation in a remote area in the town of Knight off County C and Pleasant Lake Road.
