APPLETON, Wis. - Roberta Jean Pavlovich, 60, of Appleton, formerly of Wakefield, Mich., died Sunday, June 10, 2018, surrounded by her family and friends at ThedaClark Regional Medical Center, Neenah, after a lengthy and courageous battle with a neurological disorder.
She was born on March 31, 1958, in Wakefield, daughter of the late Robert and Janice (nee' Bugni) Yon. Roberta married Michael Pavlovich on June 28, 1980, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wakefield.
Roberta graduated from Wakefield High School in 1976. She attended the nursing program at NWTC, where she received her degree as a Registered Nurse in 1990. Roberta worked at Woodside Lutheran Home and Green Bay Oncology. She was very caring and giving and it showed in the respect and care Roberta showed to all she cared for.
Roberta is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Michael; their four children: Brian Pavlovich, DePere, Adam (Niki) Pavlovich, Wrightstown, Matthew (Drew) Pavlovich, Kaukauna, and Joe Pavlovich, Neenah; four grandchildren: Nathan, John, Marko and Madeline; sister, Linda (Michael) St. Arnauld, Marquette, Mich .; four brothers: Joe (Jean) Yon, Hoffman Estates, Ill .; Tom Yon, Peter (Carrie) Yon, and Michael (Michelle) Yon, all of Wakefield, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Mass of Christian burial for Roberta will be 11 a.m. on Friday, June 15, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 222 E. Freemont St., Appleton, with Father Jon Thorsen officiating. Visitation will be held at the church Friday morning beginning at 9 until 10:45 a.m., with Mass to follow at 11 a.m.
