Theresa M. Landry

MELLEN, Wis. — Theresa M. Landry, 102, of Mellen, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at Mellen Manor in Mellen, with her loving family near her side. Theresa was born Feb. 7, 1916 in Highbridge, Wisconsin the daughter of Joseph H. and Mary (Flesch) Justice.

On June 22, 1932 she was united in marriage to Clayton H. Landry in Mellen. She was a homemaker who enjoyed reading, cooking, playing cards, traveling and spending time with her family, whom she loved very much. She was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mellen and the Alter Society.

Survivors include her children: Regina M. (Dan) McPherson of Ironwood, Mich., Margaret A. Katka of Mellen, Clayton J. of Mellen, Kathleen G. (Jack) Kruzan of Highbridge, John C. (Candy) of Highbridge, Mary J. (Gene) Wise of Libby, MT, James H. of Mellen and Jeffrey C. (Deborah) of Mellen; many grand, great and great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clayton H. on Jan 30, 1998, daughters, Patricia Landry and Betty Young, six brothers, one sister and three grandchildren.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Theresa will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Mellen, with Father Jerry Hagen as celebrant.

A gathering of family and friends will begin at 10 a.m. on Thursday at the church in Mellen and continue until the hour of service.

Interment will take place in Mellen Union Cemetery, Mellen.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Mountain Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Mellen and Ashland, Wis.
