Workers from Graphic House in Wausau, Wis., put up a new sign for the Hurley School District Wednesday morning. The sign is located on Range View Drive at the entrance to the Hurley K-12 School. Administrator Chris Patritto said the sign, which cost $12,000, will light up to help people find the school. Additional non-lit signs are planned to go up this fall on the corners of Range View and 10th Avenue, and Range View and County D. Plans for a larger sign along U.S. 51 near 10th Avenue were scuttled due to various reasons including Wisconsin Department of Transportation regulations, Patritto said.
