On Monday, lottery officials estimated the prize to be $1.6 billion, but that number could grow with ticket sales today. The game is played in 44 states, including Wisconsin and Michigan, and numbers are drawn twice a week, on Tuesday and Friday evenings. The estimated prize for Wednesday's Powerball lottery, another multi-state game drawn on Wednesdays and Saturdays, is estimated at $620 million.
