Emil Busse Sr.

BOULDER JUNCTION, Wis. — Emil Busse Sr. passed away on Sunday, Dec. 2, 2018. He was born in Germany and came to this country in 1954 after World War II with his mother and cousin, eventually settling in Boulder Junction.

In 1973, Emil married Patricia Burnell in Hurley. She survives. He is also survived by one son, Emil Jr. and daughters, Naomi Brooks, Valerie Wager and Elvira James and their families; nine grandchildren; five great grandchildren and nephews and nieces.

Emil is preceded in death by one son, Edward; his mother, Emilie; cousin, Therese Rhode; his siblings, Otilie, and her husband, Henry, here in this country and those who remained in Germany.

A memorial service and interment will be held during the spring.
