The calm before the storm

THOMAS CASLEY took this photo of the Lake Superior shore near the mouth of the Montreal River, in the Little Girl's Point area, just before gale and flood warnings were released on Sunday, Dec. 2. Waves as high as 14 to 16 feet pounded the shore from winds that gusted up to 45 mph.
