Roger Adamavich Sr.

GURNEY, Wis. — Roger Adamavich Sr. passed away on Dec. 16, 2018, peacefully at his home, and went to “His Happy Hunting Ground.”

Roger was born on Dec. 14, 1938, to Joseph and Marcelli (Rowe) Adamavich. Roger attended school in Saxon, Wis. He worked for Wilbert Vault Company, and Hi-Bob as a self-employed logger.

On March 7, 1959, Roger married Francelle Magdziak. They lived in Gurney, Wis., where he was an avid sportsman and gardener.

He will be sadly missed by his four children, Donna (Ray) Neibauer, Paula (Mike) Betka, Roger Adamavich Jr. and Ronald Adamavich; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; special friends, Wayne and Linda Herber; as well as many other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Francelle; one infant son; and his brother, Bob Adamavich.

A gathering to celebrate Roger’s life will be held on Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, beginning at noon at 481 Aspen St., in Ironwood, Mich.
