Ryan Gregory Alessandroni

GREEN BAY, Wis. - Ryan Gregory Alessandroni, 36, of Ironwood, Mich., died unexpectedly at St. Vincent Hospital.

Ryan was born on Oct. 27, 1982, in Ironwood. He is the son of Lynn and Michael Justinak, of Casper, Wyo., and Gregory and Tracey Alessandroni, of L'Anse, Mich.

He attended Ironwood Area Schools through the eighth grade and moved to Chassell, Mich., and graduated from Houghton High School with the class of 2001. Ryan worked at the Elk and Hound in Ironwood.

Ryan enjoyed cooking and his speciality was his Italian food. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed fishing with his children and family. He had a heart of gold and was loved by all who had the opportunity to know him.

Ryan is survived by his parents, his children, Ethan and Ella Alessandroni, of Norway, Mich .; his brothers, Joshua Justinak, of Ironwood, and Mitchell Justinak, of Casper; sisters, Jennifer Alessandroni (Mike Dowd), of L'Anse, Maggie Justinak, of Casper; niece, Savanna Marie Alessandroni, and nephew, Nicholas Ryan Dowd, both of L'Anse; his paternal grandmother, Loretta Alessandroni (Bill Richie), of Ironwood; numerous aunts and uncles and cousins and special friend, Valerie Rowe. He held a special place in his heart for his aunt, Chris Lahti, of Ironwood.

He was preceded death by his maternal grandparents, Bonita and Jerome Grendziak; paternal grandfather, Geno Alessandroni; and aunt, Gina Johnson.

There will be a memorial service held on Thursday, Jan. 17, at the Hurley Memorial Building. The family will greet guests from noon-1 p.m., with the service to follow. There will be a luncheon to follow at the Elk and Hound in Ironwood.
