POWERING UP

A crew member from Michels Electrical Contractors of Brownsville, Wis., works to replace a power pole on the north side of the 200 block of East Harding Street Friday afternoon. Traffic was blocked both ways for much of the work that included replacing lines to the homes near the pole. The crew said they'd been working in the area for a few weeks, but were headed to North Dakota today.
