Ironwood - The Ice Crystals skaters had the chance to show off this weekend as the club presented "Flashback to the '50s and '60s."
Three shows over the course of two days were the culmination of the figure skating season that started in late October, according to coach Rebecca Samson.
Samson was very pleased with the the performances and the effort the skaters put into their routines.
"The kids did a great job with all of the performances. We learned most of the numbers in only three practices and this year's group really excelled at pulling everything together," she said.
She said the season started with a week of free lessons, followed by two, eight-week sessions. The skaters spent three nights practicing their routines set to the music of the 1950s and 1960s in preparation for this weekend's performances.
This was the club's 35th annual show.
Skaters performing over the course of the weekend ranged in age from three to 17, Samson said.
