Madelyn Saladin

WHITE PINE, Mich. - Madelyn Saladin, 87, of White Pine, passed away peacefully on March 8, 2019 surrounded by family.

Madelyn was born in Hubbell, to Gervase and Isabelle Audette. She graduated from Lake Linden High School and began working as a beautician. She married Paul Saladin on June 20, 1953. For many years she worked at the Porcupine Mountain Ski Hill and as an election official in White Pine. She enjoyed sewing, making hand-made gifts, going to the casino, and spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by husband, Paul and brother, Norman.

She was survived by children, Paula (Darrel) Symons, Pat (Kathy), Pam, Patti (Bob) Calhoun, Terry (Lori) and Amy (Mutt) Pierpont; grandchildren, Phil, Andy, Chris, Jon, Mike, Bobby, Carrie, Shelby, Reid, Ryan, Kelsey, Brenna, Katie, Reese, Garrett and Brady; great-grandchildren Gavin, Carter, Brandon, Ryan, Taylan and Kinsley and siblings, June Aho Roehm and Gervase Audette.

A memorial service is planned for Sunday, May 26 at St. Jude Catholic Church in White Pine.

Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., followed by the service starting at 2 p.m.
