KIMBALL, Wis. - The Penokee Range 4-H Livestock Club held its annual Spring Fun Frolic at the Kimball Community Center Saturday.
Although the rain meant some plans had to changed so outside events could move inside, organizers were pleased to see the community come support the club.
"We had a very good turnout today," said Carol Alonen, the club's general leader.
She said the rain meant the petting zoo was reduced in size and several large boxes of shredded paper allowed the egg hunt to be moved indoors.
Featuring a variety of games and activities, as well as food, the Fun Frolic serves as one of the club's fundraisers.
"They do a lot of their fundraising ... for improvements at the fairgrounds, so we put it back into the community," Alonen said.
The club has held the Fun Frolic for the last four or five years.
