WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Charlotte "Charlie" Temlin, 76, passed away Friday, April 5, 2019. She was born in Rockwood, Tenn. Charlie was a wife, mother, and homemaker most of her life as well as an Avon Lady for 45 years in Tampa, Fla. Charlie enjoyed bowling with the Splits and Misses bowling league for 45 years and made many lasting friendships over the years.
Upon moving to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, Charlie joined the Ladies Auxiliary VFW Post of Wakefield, enjoyed the beauty of the four seasons, loved watching birds, squirrels, and seeing the deer. She also loved her weekly Bingo trips with her close friend Debbie. Charlie never met a stranger and always saw the good in people.
Charlie is survived by her daughter Patty (Mike) Sperhake of Wakefield; sons, Brian (Dena) Temlin of Tampa and Eugene Jr. of Tampa; twelve grandchildren: Amanda, Myra, Christopher, Callie, Michael, Tyler, Suzanne, Jake, Harley, Beverly, Kayla, and Ryan; eight great-grandchildren, Aiden, Jayla, Jason, Leila, Mason, Liam, Landon, and Aurora; four sisters, Sandy Farmer, Sharon Honan, Delores Garcia, and Brenda Harwood, and many nieces and nephews.
Charlie is preceded in death by her parents Helen Frye and Joseph Harwood; her loving husband, Eugene W. Temlin Sr .; son, Karl Temlin; daughter, Sharon Rugerrio; and brothers, Tracy Frye and Marty Harwood.
There will be a private family gathering in the fall to honor the lives of Charlotte and Eugene Temlin together.
