HURLEY - With the snow melted and spring here, Iron County Outdoor Recreation Enthusiasts is planning a work bee at the Hurley trailhead near the Montreal River Saturday.
The cleanup will begin at 1 p.m. and will include planting trees, clearing the trail, picking up any litter that accumulated over the winter, starting a native plant garden, staining benches and other projects to beautify and improve the trailhead between the local motorized and non-motorized trails.
Organizers ask volunteers to bring work gloves and meet at the trailhead between U.S. 51 and the Montreal River.
