BESSEMER, Mich. — Peggy Louise Ballone, 62, a lifelong resident of Bessemer, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at her home.
Peggy was born on Feb. 3, 1957, at Grand View Hospital in Bessemer Township, a daughter of Robert and Mildred (Kleimola) Duray. She attended A.D. Johnston High School in Bessemer and graduated in 1975.
Peggy is survived by two brothers, Robert Duray Jr., Auburn, Ga., and Jim (Helen) Duray, Wakefield; a sister, Diane (Dwight) Bjork, Jacksonville, Fla .; and several dear nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; and her husband, Ted Ballone.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Oct. 11, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10:30 a.m., at the Assembly of God Church, 2100 E. Cloverland Drive, in Ironwood, with the Rev. Mark Ortman officiating.
A committal service and interment will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery in Bessemer.
