IRONWOOD TOWNSHIP — Although details remained relatively scarce Thursday, the FBI was involved in “law enforcement activity” in Ironwood Township Wednesday.
Special Agent Mara Schneider, the media coordinator with the FBI’s Detroit Field Office, declined to comment beyond confirming the bureau’s presence in the area, citing the ongoing nature of the investigation.
Locals told the Daily Globe the activity appeared to involve a property near Vanderhagen and Nylund roads in the township.
