Kathleen Ada Hartley Codd

WRIGHTSVILLE, Ga. - Kathleen Ada Hartley Codd, 94, died Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019, at Wrightsville Manor.

A celebration of life service will be held 2 p.m., Monday, Dec. 23, at Christ Episcopal Church in Dublin, Ga., with Rev. J. Patrick Hunt officiating.

Ms. Codd was born March 22, 1925, in Ironwood, Mich., and was the daughter of the late Andrew "Butch" Hartley and Erna Bowman Hartley. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Codd; and by her son, Jon Douglas Langdon.

She retired after 32 years as a bookkeeper for Air Con Heating and Air in Atlanta. She had also worked as a bank teller and a loom operator, and loved to crochet, knit sweaters and make most of her clothing. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Dublin and was a resident of Johnson County for the past three years.

Ms. Codd is survived by her son, Donald Patrick Langdon, of Wrightsville; and grandson, Reuben Langdon, of California.
