Ironwood, Mich. - Todd W. Lehto, 59, of Hurley, Wis., passed away on Dec. 25, 2019, in Ironwood, Mich.
Todd was born on April 23, 1960, in Ironwood, son of Wallace and Lorraine (Rajala) Lehto.
He graduated from A.D. Johnston High School, Bessemer, in 1978 and joined the U. S. Navy. After his discharge from the Navy, he moved to Fallon, Nev. then to Reno, Nev., then to Houston, Texas and then back to Ironwood. He worked as a bagger and cashier for Super One Foods in Ironwood.
Todd enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Brewers, and playing golf. Todd was a friend to everyone he met and was always willing to help with whatever was needed.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Lorraine Lehto; and sister, Gail Choronzy and brother Michael John in infancy.
Todd is survived by his brothers, Gary (Fern) Lehto and Randy (Clovia) Lehto; sisters, Joy (Hannu) Venetjoki, Debbi (John) Blank, Darlene (Kathy) Gray, Sharon (Bucka) Switzer, Diane (George) Goerig and Joanne (Scott) Carlson; brother-in-law, Larry Choronzy; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Dec. 30, 2019, at 11 a.m. at McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Hill officiating, preceded by a visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of the service.
