IRONWOOD - It may have been close to a week, but Aspirus Ironwood Hospital and Clinic welcomed its first baby of the new year - and new decade - into the world Jan. 6.
Adria Lea Owen was born at 2:44 p.m., to Brittany and Jordan Owen, weighing 7 pounds, 13 ounces and measuring 19.5 inches at birth.
The couple had Adria Lea at Aspirus Ironwood because it was the closest birthing center to the family's home in Tipler, Wisconsin - near Iron River, Michigan.
