Robert Phillip DuCharme

WAKEFIELD, Mich. — Robert Phillip DuCharme, 74, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Jan. 30, 2020, in Wakefield, Michigan, after a courageous battle with Alzheimer’s.

He was born July 13, 1945, in Saxon, Wisconsin to Arthur and Anna DuCharme. He graduated from Saxon Senior High.

He married the love of his life, Gail Thomas, on June 29, 1968. He was a union carpenter and retired from Award Construction.

He is survived by his wife, Gail; daughters, Tammy (Sam) of Minnesota and Tera (Chad) of Minnesota; grandchildren, Cody, Cruz, Shae, Allyssa and Cassandra of Minnesota; a brother, James (Mary Jo) of Minnesota; and mother-in-law, Irma Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his mother, his father; a daughter, Dawn Marie; brothers, Art, Gerald, Earl, Paul, Frank and Barry; and sister, June Sarri.

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church on Saturday, Feb. 8. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. with mass service at 11 a.m. followed by a luncheon in the church hall.
