WHITE PINE — Steel Fatigue was the cause of the collapse of the skating rink and recreation building in White Pine last week, according to the adjuster who examined the building.
The insurance company determination was reported at a meeting of citizens and Carp Lake Township Board on Thursday by Homer Colclasure, a board supervisor. He said the adjuster reported the 100-by-200 foot building was determined to be a “complete loss.”
When the roof collapsed it blew out the sides, Colclasure said.
