IRONWOOD, Mich. – Sandra "Sandi" Snarski-Smith, 54, of Ironwood, passed away peacefully Thursday, Feb. 20, 2020.
Sandi was born on Sept. 1, 1965, in Bessemer Township. She grew up in Hurley, Wisconsin, and graduated from Hurley High School. Sandi continued her education and graduated from Gogebic Community College.
She worked as a pipeliner/welder for a number of years in her life.
Sandi was a very outgoing, adventurous, free-spirited and loving person. She enjoyed singing and playing guitars.
Sandi is survived by her husband, Jack Smith; two daughters, BrynAnn Smith (Dean) and Courtney Bauer-Smith (Kyle); two sons, Westin Smith and Jack (L.J.) Bauer; 12 cherished grandchildren, Nicholas, Ava, Joseph, Hailey, Aiden, Sienna, Amiah, Aleah, Arianna, Lindsay, Laliah and Ruger; four brothers, Gary, Raymond, Robert and Michael Snarski; a sister, Diane Dilts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Raymond and Marjorie Snarski; and a sister, Terri Stone.
Mom, we are missing you today. We know you will always be with us in our hearts. Who we are is because of your loving hands. We have our sweet compassionate souls from watching you.
We see the world full of wonder because of your imagination. We've learned never to give up, seeing your drive and perseverance. We will love you forever and always.
The family is honoring Sandi's life in a private service.
