Bonnie Dalbec

WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Bonnie Dalbec, 73, a longtime resident of Wakefield, passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2020, after fighting her third battle with cancer.

Bonnie was born on July 29, 1946, in Wakefield, one of eight children to Harvey and Dorothy (Newman) Grayson. She graduated from Wakefield Schools in 1964 and married David Dalbec in 1966.

Bonnie dedicated many years to her nursing career and was very proud of attending college in her 40s to earn her registered nurse degree. For the last decade, she was retired and enjoyed life with her grandchildren.

Bonnie enjoyed spending time fishing, attending her grandchildren's school activities, watching her grandson race his stock car, eating crab legs, traveling and watching Trump on Fox News.

Bonnie is survived by a daughter, Terri Bugni (Joe), Iron Mountain; a son, Tony Dalbec (Cheryl Cloud), Ashland, Wisconsin; three cherished grandchildren, Emily, Katelyn and Devin; three sisters, Debra Adams, Kim Nordine (Ken) and Penny Cook (Cliff); and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers and two sisters, Arvesta Tibaldo, Keith Grayson, Sheryl Seppa and Rollen Grayson.

Private family services will be held at her request with burial at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield.
