Michael Dravecky

SARASOTA, Fla. — Michael Dravecky, 62, died in May 2020 at his home in Sarasota.

Mike was born June 27, 1957, in Phelps, Wisconsin, to Florence and Mike Dravecky.

Mike graduated from Watersmeet Township High School. He began studying civil engineering at Michigan Tech in the fall of 1975, and he graduated in 1980. He had been an engineer in Florida for more than 30 years. He enjoyed cooking and baking, especially sweets for his neighbors and co-workers.

He is survived by two sisters, Lynn Haarala (Lawrence Haarala) of Phelps, Wisconsin, and Kathleen McGrath (Mark McGrath) of Watersmeet, Michigan; and his mother, Florence of Watersmeet.

There will be a private service at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watersmeet.
