YUMA, Ariz. — Stanton Kallaak passed away on Sept. 14, 2020 at home in Yuma, Arizona.
Stan was born Nov. 24, 1944 in Ontonagon, Michigan. He was raised in Bergland, Michigan, graduating from the Bergland High School in 1962.
On Nov. 28, of 1964 he married the love of his life, Linda Rajala and the two moved to Land O’Lakes, Wisconsin five years later in 1969.
Stan was the manager of Land O’Lakes Lumber Co. for 20 years, and then was manager of Forslund Building Supply in Land O’Lakes until his retirement in 2011.
Following retirement, he moved to Yuma, Arizona.
He was a member of the Hope Lutheran Church in Land O’Lakes.
Stan is survived by his wife of 55 years, Linda; daughter, Karen (Michael) Gray; grandchildren, Jude Ogo, Kaleena Ogo, Jessica Ogo and Travis Gray. He is further survived by daughter-in-law Louise; as well as nephews, cousins and other family.
He was preceded in death by parents, Olaf and Selena Kallaak; son, Troy; and sister, Gloria Metzner.
Stan has been cremated and his ashes will be buried in the Bergland cemetery. A small family service will be held on Oct. 10 at the cemetery.
