James J. Rady

HURLEY, Wis. - James J. Rady, of Hurley, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, at the age of 88.

Jim was born on Aug. 6, 1932, in Two Rivers. On Sept. 26, 1953, he married Barbara Beverly Bishop. Together they raised four sons and one daughter.

Jim loved fishing and hunting with his sons and grandchildren.

He was involved in many aspects of ministry and served on many community boards throughout his life. His joy came from the Lord, his love for his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He enjoyed spending his time with his friends and extended Villa family, especially his good friend, Marvin La Grew.

Jim was loved by many people and will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Jim's greatest desire was that everyone would come to know the Lord and give their hearts to Him. His favorite Bible verse was Lamentations 3:22-24.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James and Agnes; and his wife, Barbara (Bishop) Rady.

He is survived by his five children, Scott (Jill) Rady, of New Holstein, David (Martha) Rady, of Green Bay, Patrick (Debbie) Rady, of Ironwood, Michigan, Joel (Tammy) Rady, of Solon Springs, and Holly (Tim) Lombardo of Wausau; his brother, Richard Rady of LaCrosse; 14 grandchildren, and many more great-grandchildren.

Memorial services are being scheduled for the summer of 2021.
