HURLEY, Wis. — Thomas Lundgren, a native of Hurley, passed away recently.
He was born to Henry and Margaret Lundgren on Oct. 3, 1946. After graduating from Hurley High School, Thomas served two tours in Vietnam with the U.S. Air Force. During this period, Thomas met and married the one love of his life, Judith Sargent. Together they raised three children, Chad, Ryan and Eric.
Thomas enjoyed cheering on the Green Bay Packers, watching movies, and spending time with his many nieces, nephews and grandchildren. In his later years, Thomas returned to his home town of Hurley, to be close to his siblings and relatives.
Along with his three sons, Thomas is survived by his brother, Ray Lundgren; sisters, Kathryn Mieloszyk, Janice Florian, Joanne Bruneau and Peggy Innis; three grandchildren, Patricia, Harrison and Hoen; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Thomas provided unconditional love and support to not only his family, but to anyone fortunate enough to have gotten to know him over the years. He will be missed but never forgotten.
