PLAZA, N.D. - Judi Lynn (Paynter) Kober, 34, of Plaza, passed away peacefully in her home on Nov. 8, 2020, after suffering from a long term medical condition.
She was born Sept. 18, 1986, in Ashland, Wisconsin, daughter of Michael and Cheryl Pann.
Judi graduated from Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood, Michigan, in 2005, where she excelled in academics, basketball and volleyball. She was a social butterfly with a smile that could light up a room.
She spent her last years reconnecting with family and focusing on being a mom. Judi loved the Chicago Bears and enjoyed cheering them on come Game Day.
She is survived by her parents, Michael and Cheryl Pann; a daughter, Maddison; two sons, Kameron and Conner; four sisters, Amanda (Mike), Nicole, Casey (Cole) and Laura (Kevin); three brothers, Tyler (Megan), Brandon (Holly) and Eric; and Grandpa Don, Grandma Sandy, Aunt Crystal (Jess), Uncle Steven and her significant other, Josh Romanowski.
She is proceeded in death by her stepfather, Lee Paynter; her grandmother, Grace Saari; her grandfather, Lawrence Pann; her uncle, Bill Pann; and her nephew, Travis Paynter.
God saw you getting tired and a cure was not to be; so he put his arms around you and whispered "come with me."
The family will hold a private celebration of life to honor Judi.
