HURLEY, Wis. — Lily M. Youngs, 83, of Hurley passed away on Nov. 19, 2020, at Villa Maria Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hurley.
Lily was born April 30, 1937, the daughter of John and Clara (Barrett) Taylor. She attended school in Hurley.
She married James Youngs on March 31, 1956.
Lily loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Clara Taylor; husband, James; daughter, Diane Ruda; son-in-law, Gary Ruda; brothers, John and Robert Taylor; and sisters, Bernadine Helgren and Elizabeth Stella.
Lily is survived by sons, Jim (Kim) Youngs of Kimball and Larry “Murph” (Ann) Youngs of Hurley; four grandchildren, Cory Youngs (Amanda Vitovsky), Nichole Carter (Jamie Ofstad), Beau (Kayla) Youngs and Chanel Youngs (Dylan Levra); seven great-grandchildren, Breanna Adamavich, Hope Adamavich, Macie Levra, Gabrielle Levra, Cheyenne Youngs, Lily Youngs and Harley Youngs; and other family and friends.
The family would like to thank the dedicated and amazing staff at Villa Maria Health and Rehabilitation Center. They provided a true gift at this difficult time, showing care and love for our mother.
Honoring Lily”s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will take place at the Hurley Cemetery in the spring.
