Linda Marie Cole

MARENISCO, Mich. - Linda Marie Cole, 73, of Marenisco, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2020.

Linda was born on June 21, 1947, in Grand Rapids to Leroy and Elnora (Smith) Taylor. She was the fifth of 10 children.

On Aug. 2, 1963, Linda married Stanley Cole. They made their home in Marenisco for the last 50 years where they raised four children.

Linda worked hard all her life. She was employed for 27 years at the Gogebic Medical Care Facility in Wakefield, and retired in 2010.

Family was everything to Linda. She treasured her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and cherished every moment with them.

Linda enjoyed fishing and camping, but above all, she enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports. She was their biggest fan and baseball was her favorite sport to watch.

Linda is survived by her husband of 57 years, Stanley Sr .; two daughters, Trish (Geno) and Debby (Danne); two sons, Stanley Jr. (Missy) and Mike (Amanda); 13 grandchildren, Matt, Eric, Josh, Jason, Jake, Ben, Zach, Madeline, Tyler, Shane, Sethe, Carter and Carine; and nine great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held in the spring.

Jerald Rocco, of Lakeside Memorial Chapel in Wakefield, is assisting the family.
