IRONWOOD, Mich. — Syble M. Lange, age 90, of Ironwood, passed away on Thursday, May 20, 2021.
She was born July 31, 1930, to the late Oscar and Elizabeth (Nash) Nyholm.
On Oct. 28, 1950, she married Richard L. Lange, who preceded her in death in 1994.
She is survived by her two children, Richard (Donna) Lange Jr. of Rosemount, Minnesota, and Deborah Hedstrom of Saline; three grandchildren, Richard III, Loren and James Lange; and two great-grandchildren, Gunner and Hunter Lange.
Syble enjoyed knitting and quilting, crossword puzzles, and reading mystery novels, watching sports, especially her favorite teams, the Detroit Tigers and Green Bay Packers. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Ironwood and was active in the choir, Dorcas guild, and many other activities.
Cremation has taken place. Interment will be held at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date. Plans for a memorial service are pending at this time. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church, E5104 E Margaret St., Ironwood, MI 49938.
