HURLEY, Wis. - Susan M. Bahr, 72, a resident of the Town of Oma (Hurley), passed away Friday morning, April 30, 2021, at her home.
Susan was born on Aug. 24, 1948, in Milwaukee, a daughter of Harvey O. and Ethel E. (Thompson) Klumb.
She was a dedicated secretary and retired from Waukesha County Technical College.
Susan enjoyed shopping, especially for shoes. She did a lot of traveling visiting family and friends, and Susan loved to ride her Harley-Davidson with her family and Harley family.
Susan is survived by her siblings, Harvey T. Klumb (Connie) and Carol E. Klumb (Bob Marquardt); two nieces, Nicole Kinderman (Todd) and Michelle Kurth (Tom); and a great-niece and two great-nephews, Austin, Samantha and Christopher. She is further survived by her loving friend and companion, Russ Brandenburg, who took wonderful care of Susan during her time of need; and Russ' family, especially his grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Thomas Walter Bahr.
A celebration of Susan's life will be held Saturday, June 12, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the Yukon 51, 7936 N. U.S. 51, in Hurley.
Interment will take place at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
Jerald Rocco, owner and manager of Lakeside Memorial Chapel Inc., in Wakefield, Michigan, is assisting the family with their arrangements.
