NAPLES, Florida - Joan Timmons McVean (nee Rahko) passed away peacefully on May 29, 2021, at age 83, while being lovingly cared for at VITAS Hospice in Naples after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Thomas McVean, of Naples; stepson, Barry Timmons, of Prescott, Arizona; stepchildren, Christine, Tommy Jr., Malcom and Patrick, of Washington, D.C.; three sisters, Janet Lampson, of Reno, Nevada, and Doris Rahko and Dolores "Cookie" Fleming, of Naples; a brother, Dean Rahko, of Erwin Township, Michigan; plus many nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous friends.
Joan was preceded in death by her parents, John E. and Florence S. Rahko; and a brother, John R. "Jack" Rahko.
