Robert 'Cobb' Pete

WATERSMEET, Mich. — Robert “Cobb” Pete, 75, of Watersmeet, passed away at his home, with his family by his side, on Friday, Nov. 5, 2021. He was born Sept. 6, 1946, in Watersmeet Township.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Patrick and Elizabeth (Brunk) Pete; brother, Donald Pete; sister, Rose Pete; wife, Wanda (DeVerney) Pete; and grandson, Anthony James Isham Jr.

Robert left behind his daughter, Melissa (Ziggy) Rogala; sons, Brian and Brandon Aimsback; brothers, Albert (Yvonne) Pete, Patrick Pete and Franklin Pete; sisters, Judy (John) McGeshick and Sandy (Rich) Pete; grandchildren, Krysta (Stewart) Diver, Cheyanne (Roman) Blair and Melissa (Randel) Monjaraz; great-grandchildren, Maddie and Brayden Isham, Kayden Meyers Diver, Mariana Aimsback, Zayden and Zavier Isham, Wynter Isham, Winona Aimsback, Anthony Isham III and Christina Ann Marie; and plenty of nieces and nephews.

Visitation services will be held on Monday, Nov. 8, at the Lac Vieux Desert Rec Center in Watersmeet, from noon to 4 p.m. Central Standard Time.

The Cane Funeral Home-Bruce Crossing Chapel is assisting the family.
