RAMSAY, Mich. — Anne R. Coron, 94, a longtime resident of Ramsay, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021.
Anne was born on Jan. 5, 1927, in Marenisco, a daughter of Edward and Rose (Milness) White. She attended Marenisco High School and graduated in 1946.
On Nov. 16, 1946, Anne was united in marriage to Lawrence E. Coron at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Ironwood by the Rev. Monsignor J.B. Moriarty.
She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Wakefield and a former member of Christ the King Catholic Church in Ramsay.
Anne is survived by a daughter, Colleen (Richard) Bolen, Wakefield; a son, Lawrence “Butch” (Jean) Coron, Iron Belt, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Patrick Bolen, James (Amy) Bolen, Bruce Coron and Alicia Coron (fiancé, Mark); three great-grandchildren, Preston, Preslee and Liam Bolen; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Lawrence, on March 5, 2009; two brothers, John and Walter White; and a sister, Elizabeth DeFrancisco.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Saturday, Dec. 11, at 11 a.m., preceded by visitation at 10 a.m., at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 407 Ascherman St., in Wakefield, with the Rev. Dominic Agyapong, celebrant. Also in attendance will be the Immaculate Conception Woman’s Guild Honor Guard.
Luncheon will follow at the parish hall.
Rite of Committal and interment will take place at the Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield, in the spring.
