KENOSHA, Wis. - It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Michael E. "Eddy" Olexa Sr., 75, of Kenosha, on Saturday, Jan. 8, 2022.
Born on Jan. 15, 1946, in Ironwood, Michigan, son of the late Matthew J. Olexa and Virginia (Habina) Dunn, Mike married the love of his life, Peggy Cope, in Chicago, on Aug. 29, 1987.
Not only did Mike love fishing and playing cards, he was also an avid Chicago Bears fan. Fond memories of Mike include him sitting with a cup of coffee, a cigarette, and a good conversation. He loved fiercely and deeply. Above all, Mike loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by siblings, Matt Olexa Jr., Barbara Olexa and John Olexa.
Services are postponed until further notice due to COVID-19. Contributions in memory of Mike can be made to Kenosha area's Meals on Wheels program (kafasi.org/mow.html).
