WAKEFIELD, Mich. - Karen Jean Clark, 71, of Wakefield, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 9, 2022, with her daughters at her side.
Karen was born on Oct. 7, 1950, in Wakefield, the daughter of Michael "Skippy" and Irja (Kujala) Krznarich. She attended Wakefield High School and graduated in 1968.
On July 21, 1973, Karen was united in marriage to Keith Clark at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Wakefield.
She enjoyed playing bingo, cards, bowling and going to the casino.
Karen was an active member of the Wakefield American Legion Post 11 Auxiliary and held the position of senior vice.
Karen is survived by her beloved, Keith; two loving daughters, Karla (David) Semenak and Misty (Mitchell) Delich; three cherished grandchildren, Justin (Alyssa) Olexa and Ebanie and Gage Delich; the apple of her eye, her great-grandson, Ridley Olexa; her sister-in-law, Nancy Krznarich; and numerous dear nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; her grandparents, Onni and Helma Kujala; and two brothers, Mike, at birth, and Rudy.
Karen will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Out of respect for her wishes, cremation will take place.
Per Karen's request, a private service and interment will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Wakefield, in the spring.
