HURLEY, Wis. - Richard D. Livingston Sr., 75, of Hurley, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2022, with his family at his side.
Richard was born and raised in Ironwood, Michigan, a son of Clyde and Hazel Livingston. He attended Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood and graduated in 1966.
He joined the U.S. Army and was a Vietnam veteran.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; a son, Richard Jr. (Sally); and two cherished grandsons, Blake and Colin.
He is further survived by three sisters, Sharon Charles (David Bouillion), Hurley, Linda Rahko, Ironwood, and Katherine "Tina" Kummer, Bessemer, Michigan; his sister-in-law, Patricia Livingston, Hurley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his parents; three brothers, Robert, Donald and Gerald; and two sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" Rondeau and Gladys Elsila.
At his request, cremation has taken place.
A celebration of Richard's life will be held on Saturday, May 21, beginning at 1 p.m., at the Iron County Memorial Building in Hurley, where military rites will be accorded.
