WEYAUWEGA, Wis. — Larry T. Stark, age 80, of Weyauwega, passed away following a battle with pancreatic cancer on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at his home. He was born on Aug. 27, 1941, in Ohio, the oldest of nine children to Nicholas and Mary (Bishoff) Stark.
Larry worked as a carpenter, butcher and mining supervisor, and then returned to school to become an LPN. He started his 40-year career at White Pine hospital and retired from Neenah Foundry.
On Aug. 19, 1982, Larry married Madilene Bailey. Together they enjoyed their love of family, friends, animals, fishing, and motorcycle riding.
Larry was a Mr. Fix It and was able to fix just about anything. He also enjoyed doing woodwork. He was a collector of knives and tools. Larry was a very determined man with a kind heart. He was a role model to many. He was always available to lend a helping hand to family, friends and strangers.
Larry is survived by his wife, Madilene; his mother, Mary Stark; a daughter, Tamara (Brian) Jacquet; three sons, Todd (Janice) Stark, Steve (Tammy) Stark, and Sean (Amy) Stark; two stepsons, Marlin (Betty) Lundwall and Terry (Candy) Lundwall; a stepdaughter, Heidi(Cliff) Kohler; grandchildren and stepgrandchildren, Autumn (Brendan) Conway, Brooke Jacquet, Claire Jacquet, Natalie Schmitz, Christopher Stark, Victoria Stark, Brady Stark, Carter Stark, Alyssa Stark, Ashlyn Stark, Ellie Stark, Jason (Dani) Solomon-Lundwall, Tina (Scott) Larson, Valerie (Ben) Tomczak, Todd Lundwall, Melanie Lawnicki, Jeremy (Jenny) Livermore, Jamie (Stacie) Livermore, Echo Rowe and Cheyanna (Shawn) Rowe-Woodhead; great-grandchildren and stepgrandchildren, Lilah and Paisley Conway, Keelia Colton, Kylar and Cliona Solomon-Lundwall, Ava, Camden and Tatum Larson, Courtney (Eric) Tomczak, Michael Tomczak, Hailey Erickson, Isabel, Shawn and Jazzlyn Lawnicki, Aerial Keenlance, Zavier (Becky) and Ethan Livermore, Madelynn and Easton Livermore, Dillon Devine, Kylie, Gage and Ellie Woodhead; great-great-stepgrandchild, Liam Livermore; six brothers, David, Robert, Timothy, Jeffrey, Brian and Terry; two sisters, Marcia Cooper and Sheila Churchill; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Nicholas Stark; stepdaughter, Madilene Joy Livermore; and a grandson, Cody Stark.
A memorial service was held on Sunday, June 5, at 4 p.m., at Lewin Funeral Home, 210 W. Main St., in Fremont. Chaplain Lois Assman officiated. A visitation was held prior to the service at the funeral home.
