IRONWOOD, Mich. - Tony J. Pietrocatelli, 44, of Ironwood, passed away unexpectedly after an automobile accident on July 29, 2022.
Tony was born the son of John and Judy (Nelson) Pietrocatelli on Feb. 9, 1978, in Ironwood. He was a 1996 graduate of Luther L. Wright High School in Ironwood and received his welding certificate from WITC in 1997. He worked for Bretting in Ashland for 24 years as a field service technician and welder.
Tony enjoyed hunting, going to his camp where he loved spending time outdoors, and working on making and fixing bridges for trails. He also liked to go camping, snowmobiling, boating and fishing. Tony was always busy working on something in the garage or building projects for others. He loved his family and his dogs greatly.
Tony is survived by his son, Jayson Pietrocatelli; daughters, Vanaya and Brielle Pietrocatelli; mother, Judy Pietrocatelli; brother, Josh (Becky) Pietrocatelli; sister, Doris (Mark) Stempihar; fiancée, Lisa Kennedy, and her children, Trevor and Carter; nieces and nephews, Kayla, Cole, Brooke, Harper, Griffin and Riley; the mother of his son, Jennifer Huber; the mother of his daughters, Amanda Johanik Pietrocatelli; and his dogs, Moe and Fuzz. He is further survived by other family and friends. Tony was preceded in death by his father, John Pietrocatelli. Tony will be greatly missed by everyone who knew or loved him.
Visitation for Tony will take place at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood from 9 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13. Mass will follow at the church at 11 a.m. with Fr. Binu Joseph officiating.
