BESSEMER, Mich. - Michael William Juleff passed away Saturday, Aug. 13, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer.
Mike was born on Sept. 7, 1965. He grew up in Atlantic Mine, attended Redridge and E.B. Holman elementary schools and graduated from Houghton High School.
On Jan. 14, 1994, he married the former Kathy Miller of Houghton. They resided in Bessemer for the past 21 years.
Over the years, Mike worked at various Ski Resorts and developed a dare-devil love of skiing where he earned his nickname "Thunder". He was also an accomplished carpenter and worked at roofing homes, and other renovations.
Mike was able to spend his last days at home with his loving wife by his side.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; his mother, Grace Juleff, of Houghton; his sister, Kimberly (Carl) Johnson, of Hancock; his brother, David (Penny) Juleff, of Ft. Myers, Florida; niece, Mikala Johnson, of Hancock; nephew, Max Juleff; and great-niece, Luna Juleff, of Ft. Myers, Florida. He is also survived by a great number of wonderful cousins.
Michael and his wife, Kathy, resided in Bessemer, where they had a great network of friends and family who are devastated by this news. We will all miss you Thunder.
