Ronald Lee Greil

NOKESVILLE, Va. - Ronald Lee Greil, 60, of Nokesville, passed away on Sept. 4, 2022.

He was born in Wakefield, Michigan, on May 17, 1962, to Raymond and Annette (Troiber) Greil. Ron grew up in Michigan with love for the outdoors. He enjoyed fishing on the Black River and the Big Presque Isle. He also enjoyed bird hunting and rabbit hunting with his siblings. When Ron moved to Virginia in 1985, since hunting wasn't as great as it was back home, he picked up the hobby of metal detecting and his love for relic hunting began.

Ron moved to Nokesville in 2018 and picked up yet another hobby, gardening, which he was very proud of.

Ron was a proud Green Bay Packers fan and if you knew him, we don't even have to mention he was a Donald Trump fan. Ron worked for Vulcan Materials Company for more than 30 years and was very proud of and loved what he did. Although he had many hobbies and interest throughout his life, Ron's biggest pride and joy was his daughter, Christine; and his grandchildren, Colton and Gracie.

Ronald joins his father, Raymond Greil; brother, Mike Greil; and sister, Betty Jo Greil.

He is survived by his daughter, Christine Nicole Hudson; grandchildren, Colton and Gracie Hudson; mother, Annette Greil of Bessemer, Michigan; siblings, Linda (Mel) Greil, Roger (JoAnna) Greil, David (Jolynn) Greil, Mary (John) Graben, Nancy (Dale) Walker, Sallie (Mark) Holtz, Dennis (Shea) Greil and Steve (Mary Jo) Greil; and by many nieces and nephews.

Services for Ronald will be privately held at a date to be determined by his family.
