PEORIA, Ariz. - Ronald Charles Tibaldo, of Peoria, and formerly of Wakefield, Michigan, gained his heavenly wings on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2022.
Ron was loved by many and will be missed by many more. Ron was the type of guy that would light up a room when he walked in, always cracking jokes at just the right time with a hearty laugh and a little smirk, and then say, love ya!
Ron immensely enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed camping, fishing and tinkering with mechanics. Ron graduated from Wakefield-Marenisco High School in 2005, enlisting in the U.S. Army right after. Ron worked numerous jobs, mostly working with forestry products.
Ron is survived by his two daughters, Alexis and Allison, of Ironwood, Michigan; a stepson, Nathan Beckwith of Everett, Michigan; his mother, Dawn (Scott) Johnson, of Peoria; his father, Joe Tibaldo of Wakefield; sisters, Amber (Robbie) Kral, of Ashley, and Brianna (Daniel) Haughom, of Ironwood; brothers, Louis Tibaldo, of Ramsay, Michigan, and Travis Kahila, of Wakefield; aunts, Julie Hautala of Wakefield, and Tina (Dave) Trevarthen, of Bessemer, Michigan; uncles, Donald (Chyanne) Plonsky, of Wakefield, Eric Hogsett, of Ramsay, and Gary Sell, of Negaunee, Michigan; and nephews, Chase and Robert Kral, and Owen Haughon.
Ron was predeceased by his grandparents, Orlando "Butch" and Arvesta Tibaldo, and Donald and Donna Plonsky; uncle, Brian Tibaldo; aunts, Denise Sell, Debra Hogsett and Rosemary Cook; and infant sister, Ashley.
Neptune Society of Tempe, Arizona, is in charge of arrangements. Cremation has taken place. Online condolences may be left at neptunesociety.com/location/phoenix-creamation.
Interment will be in Wakefield Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
