FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Ava Jane Snow, age 64, passed away Saturday, Oct. 22, 2022, in Fort Wayne. She was born Aug. 1, 1958, in Ironwood, Michigan, to the late Roy and Katherine Puisto.
Ava's career started in Ironwood with her associate degree in business administration from Gogebic Community College. She was a loved office administrator. After she and family moved to Fort Wayne, she pursued her passion and eared a bachelor's degree with honors in interpersonal and public communication from Purdue University. Armed with credentials, she excelled in everything she did. She ended her carrier with Medical Protective, where she served as a communications facilitator, external trainer and business analyst.
Ava's passion was to make people feel special. Coupled with her equal passion for cooking, she did just that. From cakes and cookies to gourmet meals, if you had an Ava treat you indeed felt special and loved. She loved family, animals, music, traveling, dressing up and the beach in Fort Lauderdale. She was beautiful inside and out.
Ava is survived by her husband, Mark Snow; daughter, Katie (Jerod) Witte; granddaughter, Clair; and sister, Paula Vernetti and Francelle Kubley of Ontario, Canada. She was preceded in death by her son, Brian Stein Jr.
Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 29, at 4 p.m. at Fairhaven Funeral Home and Cremation Services, at 6557 N. Clinton St. in Fort Wayne. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m.
