EWEN, Mich. - Jackie Weber, of Ewen, Michigan, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Jan. 19, 2023, at St. Mary's Hospital in Duluth, Minnesota.
Jackie was born in Wakefield, to John and Irene Berglund on March 23, 1941. She went to school in Bergland and graduated high school in 1959. Jackie married Clint Weber on Feb. 10, 1962, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ewen. She was a homemaker, raising four children on the family farm in Ewen. She loved cooking and baking and hosted countless family get-togethers over the past 60 years. In retirement, Jackie and Clint traveled across the country with their fifth-wheel trailer, sightseeing and enjoying time with their RV club. She served as an Auxiliary at American Legion Post 41 in Ewen for many years.
Jackie is survived by her husband, Clint Weber; children, Clint Weber Jr. (Kathy), Mark Weber (Renee'), Geraldine Franklin (Mark), and Brian Weber; brother, John Berglund (Ann); sister, Geraldine Trevarthen; grandchildren, Sarah (Weber) Newey, Steven Weber, Michael Weber, Nicole (Weber) Ziolkowski, Erik Weber, Madison Weber, Morgan Franklin and Jacob Franklin; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth Newey, Gracie Newey, Paul Weber, Naomi Weber, Caden Bundy, Brycen Bundy, Luke Ziolkowski, Samuel Ziolkowski and Benson Ziolkowski.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents, John and Irene Berglund; and sister, Gloria Forchette.
Visitation will be Friday, Jan. 27, at 10 a.m., with a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ewen, with Fr. Michael Jacobus officiating.
Pallbearers will be Michael Weber, Erik Weber, Jacob Franklin, Nate Ziolkowski, John Berglund II, and John Berglund III.
