David Pasqualucci

IRONWOOD, Mich. — David Pasqualucci, 78, of Ironwood, passed away on Monday, Feb. 20, 2023.

He was born on Sept. 23, 1944, in Ironwood to the late Albino and Bertha (Przekop) Pasqualucci. David grew up in Ironwood and graduated from Luther L. Wright High School with the class of 1962. After graduation, he attended Gogebic Community College, where he received an associate degree in computer aided drafting.

He married Judith Ikola on Nov. 22, 1969, in Ramsay at Christ the King Catholic Church. David and Judith made their home in Ironwood and celebrated 53 years of marriage this past November.

David was a devoted, lifetime fan of the Green Bay Packers. He was a very talented woodworker, making numerous family heirlooms along with selling his beautiful furniture and crafts. He loved cooking and made the best homemade salamini, potato sausage, salami and deer sausage.

Although David did not have any children, he loved all of his nieces and nephews as though they were his own. He was lovingly referred to as “Unkie Dave.”

David is survived by his wife, Judith (Ikola) Pasqualucci; brother-in-law, Roger (Beverly) Ikola; two nephews, John (Wendy) Ikola of Milan and Roger Ikola Jr. of Ramsay; a niece, Patty (Todd) Borseth of Lake Gogebic; two great-nephews, Robert (Chelsea) Ikola and Roger (Danielle) Ikola; two great-nieces, Alainna (Eric Chan) Ikola and Tasha (Marcus) Thomas; two great-great-nephews, Carsen Ikola and Wyatt Nordberg; and three great-great-nieces, Harper Ikola, Paige Ikola and Alyce Thomas.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his father- and mother-in-law, John and Alice Ikola; sister-in-law, Donna Ikola; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Burial will take place in the spring at Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood.
